03 F350 Passengerside Airbag Light

Every time I start the truck, the Passenger Side Airbag light is on, which is saying the airbag is turned "OFF." I have to push the button to turn the light off, which turns the airbag "ON." How do I reset this to where the airbag is "ON" until I turn it "OFF?"

No key switch for the air bag on off?

Okay, so I need to learn more about my truck. What I thought was the passenger side airbag switch is actually for the backup sensors. I didn't know I had a backup sensor. Apparently, if the light shows "OFF" as soon as you start the truck, that means you have a bad speaker. If it shows "OFF" when you put it in reverse, that means you have a bad sensor. I had no idea.
Thanks anyway guys.

Easy way to check the sensors if you don't have a scan tool that
has the ability to run the diag. Key ON Engine OFF Parking Brake ON
Wheel Chocks if you have then. Go back and put you ear near each
of the black disks on the rear bumper and listing for a ticking type sound.
If you have one not making sounds that it has a problem.

Also I think you can still go to the Ford site and get the owner's manual.

If you run into issues with the testing I can post the pinpoint
testing PDF for your year. 2003 F350.

I just went through that mess with my Excursion. First thing is take the rear lis plate off and separate the connection, clean it with some contacts cleaner and grease it with dielectric grease. Then check you connect on the sensors. If they are not buzzing , use a scanner to see if the module is bad. Mine drove me crazy because of the connection behind the bumper.

Sounds good, thanks. As soon as I can get some time away from our miniature horses, I'll start checking the sensors.
