Hub Assembly/Wheel Bearing Quick Question?

I have a brand new pair of hub assemblies/Wheel Bearings that i m gonna put on today ... Mine have been bad for quite a while now and have cuased the front tires to cup and divot and wear oddly so they kinda vibrate... This may be a stupid question but if i put the new hub assemblies on and put the cupped tires back on will it wear out my bearings faster due to the unevenness of the tires and cupping ? I dont wanna put new bearings in it if the tires are just gonna ruin them.

I don't see you having a problem with the tires wearing out a bearing because they are cupped. Rotate the rear tires to the front, and front to rear after you replace the bearings.

^^^^^^ what he said.

But if they are chopped up that bad, might be an opportune time to get new skins all the way around and enjoy a dry lap.

BTW, all kidding aside, when you pull those old hubs, surgically remove all old grease etc from the stub axles and make darn sure the runouts are crystal clean of any galling.

Nothing worse than having to replace another assy because of oversight. It just costs you down the road.

I would be concerned about the bearing races, AKA axle stubs! We can't afford to run with bad bearing on these trucks races are too expensive to replace.
