I have a 1993 F150 with 38superswampers. The problem is it just started to shimmy or shake in the front end at about 35mph and stops when your going slower or faster you can realy see it in the stering wheel. I think maybe that I have one tie rod going bad but they all seem tight and strong. Its just strange that I get this problem only at a certain speed.
HELP Bob:-huh

Check the steering linkage and the pitman arm joint if all the 'rods are good. Also look for mud on the inside of the rim even a little makes a big difference. Hope this helps.

does it do it all the time? The reason I ask is, my truck shakes bad when I first take off and the tires are cold. Swampers flatspot really bad. Once the tires warm up on the road it goes away. If that isn't it, and the steering is tight, try having the tires pad balanced. Mine rides great with my 39.5's(after they warm up).Good luck.

I was going to put a picture of my truck on here but I can fiqure out how you did it. Do you do alot of four wheeling with your truck?

I did have to cut the rear of the front fenders alittle. I had already trimmed the bumper as well as spaced it out 1 in. This made plenty of room. As for the wheeling, It spends most of it's life carrying me back and forth to work. But I have Tested its abilties a few times more than I probably should have. Thanks. I am going to include the instructions for the pic. I got them from Madman.
