I am looking at buying a 1992? Dana 44 TTB complete assembly. It is being sold for best offer. What do these typically sell for? Thanks!:)

x2. Nobody else is buying. That said, knowing the demographics of people who part out trucks there's a non-trivial chance your offer offends the salty old man who's selling it, he emails you a rant about how it's worth at least $200 and refuses to do business with you |

FWIW, I once bought a Dana 50 TTB from an F250. I paid $120 for it. I kept the differential housing and passenger stub shaft for myself and sold the rest piece by piece. I sold the axle shafts for $120 and made all my money back. Then I sold the spindles, knuckles, and hubs and made an additional $280. Then I scrapped the axle beams and brakes and got another $7.

Like said, it's basically worth scrap value. And not a dime more. They're hard to even give away.
I have a complete or mostly complete d44 assembly that I can't get rid of aside from taking to the scrap yard, which is probably what I'll do very soon... |

When you crank the prices down people who don't really need stuff buy it anyway because they want it on hand or figure they can sell it on eBay. Something tells me you're not trying to sell it very hard. |
I've had a half dozen of them listed on Craigslist over the years for 25-100 bucks, never sold one. Didn't try all that hard, once the listing expired two or three times they just sent to the scrap.
