I need help to verify part numbers please

I am going to be pulling out the instrument cluster on my 88 e150 to change the speedometer cable and IVR.
I located a Motorcraft IVR part number D1AZ-10804-A but different sites show it fitting different year trucks and vans so I am not sure..
here Denis Carpenter says 71-72 Econolines
Instrument Cluster Voltage Regulator | Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts

Here they say it fits my 88

This part is a fit for your vehicle selected: 1988 Ford E150

Now the Motorcraft speedometer cable.. Part number E9UZ-9A820-F

Ford Speedometer Cable 1986-94 E350 F250 Bronco E150
I believe that is the whole cable assembly with the outer cable and core.

Thanks in advance.

It fits your van. You'd be amazed to learn that Ford used parts that were first produced in the 1950's for 30 years in their speedometer setups. The plastic gears in the transmission were first produced in the late 50's. Ditto for the cables, they were used for 30-40 years until electronics took over. There weren't a lot of these instances, but there were many. Like the connecting rods in the 302, these were used for 20+ years before someone at Ford decided the C8OE rods needed updating in the early 90's. Ditto for the E7TE heads used on the 302 and 351W from late 1986 to 1997 (on the 351)
