I was wrong, Gas tank

I thought the gas tank from LMC was different as far as the pickup tube. When I took the brass fitting off the old tank surprise !! The brass fitting has an inside DIA of .201. The tube that connect to the fitting then to the carb ID is .250. With that being said, How many of you are running a late model engine with this stock setup ? Will this setup work ? What you think ?

If you are worried that the size is not sufficient for a modern engine I would think that the original engine got worse millage than most modern ones . LOL

My first F1 I had a 425 with a either a 650 or a 750 Holley Double Pumper (can't remember which one it was, it was 35 years ago)... never had a problem with starving for fuel unless you count vapor lock!
