Is there a reference source from which I can determine the year made based on the casting number found on the NP205?

The ID tag is found above the front driveshaft output, will list model, manufacture date and gear ratio.

So you have scrapped the dirt and grease looking for this? Maybe there is some #'s on the back side round plate?

Nah, nothing. Just rebuilt and looks near-new awesome inside & out. Except for the notable absence of anything that might help me figure out what year it was built, other than the casting number.
