Their website states, "For over 30 years, Prime Choice has been a leading expert in wholesale auto parts manufacturing and distribution. We manufacture all of our products and store them in our state of the art 100,000 sq ft warehouse which allows us to offer our customers wholesale direct pricing."

I'm guessing that to be able to say "you make all your parts" means they have a chinese supplier that does private label. They very few hard parts for my '94. I compared the front end ball joints I ordered from RA (Moog) and the RA cost me less before shipping was calculated. Same thing on OEM grade shocks. Understandably they don't offer any spark plugs. I like my Autolites and wouldn't bother to try "Ching-ling best sparkem ups". :(

I typically shop ebay (my favorite supplier) for most of my parts, and usually score OEM parts reasonably priced. I've never made any purchases from Rock, but I hear a lot of good reports about them from others.

rockauto sucks when they screw up and you need to return something
also, when you add shipping they can be more expensive than other suppliers
I only use them for reference now

I recently went to my local mechanic and had him order me front Hub assemblies for my 4x4 truck, both new hubs were bad out of the box, I had him order more and told him go through Ford, he says he always gets a discount through Ford, he didn't he went through the same place, I started to replace the hubs again, in short 3 out of the 4 hubs had bad bearing right out of the box. I emailed Prime Choice, and I let them know exactly what I thought of their parts and I also told them that every chance I got I would recommend people NOT to buy their products. My opinion now is stay with what ya know and where ya know.

Now of course in all fairness, people who are mad are more likely to write a review...

I just attempted to look up struts for my wife's Escape and couldn't even get successful part lookup.

Skeptical.
