2017 Raptor Decal Packages... Seriously?
 

How in the ever-lovin' Do-Dah can they justify almost $2500 for the decal and plastic tailgate appliqué????

Sorry Ford - I'm not a player for those numbers....

Not justifying Ford's decision to gouge, but I am guessing that is it more of a decision to deter the would be Raptor clones from trying to make a "kit" as well as providing a level of exclusivity to the customers that REALLY want to brag.

Someone must be smoking crack at ford to be asking those prices.

The tailgate applique isn't such a bad deal, IMO it looks too plain without it.
The graphics are way overpriced, but they do look good on certain colors.

If the price for the hood and rear panels graphics is $1975.00, I'm would think you could buy something similar locally, installed and save 1/2?

At $2k for 4 small decals, that's absurd! You may be able to wrap your entire truck for that?

I'm not much into the graphics, the rear applique would be about all I'd opt for, on the Avalanche Grey......

Apologies on "rehashing" and older post, but I'm currently looking to buy a 2018 Raptor and can't believe how expensive the cheap tape graphics are!! (IMO) they are waaay over the top and would be peeled off day 1. Have found several Raptors with what I want but they have the graphics and I hate to pay an extra $2K for something I'm going to throw out. I recently, (Oct. 2017), purchased a 2017 GT350 and immediately removed the tape striping. Was an $450 option and it was one of the last 2017's I could get at MSRP...just checked with Ford Parts and they want like $2K now for the same stripes...I'd agree with the post above that Ford is trying to gouge folks who want to create a GT350 clone...but $2K for $200 worth of graphics is ridiculous!!

Anyway, rant over, anyone know where I can get a 2018 Raptor at MSRP? The SoCal Ford dealers are at $10K - $15K over and I'm not willing to pay over MSRP - Thx!
