Stall converter for a C6...

I am getting ready to build another engine for the Bronco, I would like to add a 2500 stall converter. Any recommendations on which one to buy?

When I was picking out a torque converter, I went to the local transmission parts shop and looked at the book of stock torque converters for the transmission I intended to use. There were multiple combinations of stall speed and lockup that were considered "stock" on some vehicle without buying something overpriced from some "MAJOR HORSEPOWER!!!!!" shop online. Just saying, you could get something with the options you want without overspending just because of the marketing/brand.

Thats a good idea, I'll have to look into that.

Really depends on the application. Some cases you need to order a converter. If you're mostly stock and maybe a cam swap you might be able to find something at at transmission shop. It will be a reman converter which is why the price is less but will work just fine. If they are in good contact with the reman outfit you might be able to get something built that might not be in the book. Like mentioned there are many stall speeds for the same transmission, you'll likely be able to get something, especially if that trans was used behind a v6
