I'm not gonna take that bet. I do believe Arnold has a good chance of being elected in this recall. Perhaps not so much for his political savy or problem solving but because of his celebrity status. I won't vote for him.

Anybody else see the irony here? When Hollywood celebrities, most of whom are democrats, come out and do some Bush bashing because they don't like the president, many who do like the president and the job he is doing, aka republicans, (sprinkle in a few democrats), take Hollywood celebrities to task for thier short on brains, long on mouth approach to politics. But a Hollywood celebrity like Arnold, who claims to be a republican, comes out with his ideas about how he is going to save California and a lot of the same people who think Hollywood political pundits should stick with movie making now embrace this Hollywood politician wannabe. Now he's "The Man" who knows what he's talking about even if he is from Hollywood. There are only a couple of issues I agree with Arnold on. Now Aronold is no dummy but as for his political clout, he's no different than any other Hollywood celebrity who thinks we should listen and trust in what he is saying because of his celebrity status. The other irony is that even some of his Hollywood brethren are turning agains him.

As much as gov. Davis is disliked, I think a lot of people who may disagree with Arnold will vote for him as a vote against Davis. My thoughts on this whole mess.
