Brake dragging.
 

2002 7.3l excursion. I just replaced the brakes all the way around with the power stop pad/rotors while I did that I also replaced the slide pins for the calipers and everything was sliding free. Intermittently the right front brake hangs up, it was doing this before the brakes were replaced as well. Has anyone experience a caliper that wasn't releasing? It doesn't do it all the time and I haven't figured out how to make it do it doesn't seem to matter if the pedal is pushed hard or light it occasionally drags.

One possibility is that a brake hose is breaking down internally, this could allow pressure to get to the caliper but then a partial internal blockage would slow the release of that pressure causing that caliper to drag.
I have never had this happen to me but have read of the issue a few times where new flexible brake hoses solved the dragging brake problem.
If you do replace the hoses you have the option to go with some snazzy braided stainless hoses, both Crown and Russell are popular options around here. When you do replace any lines that is a good time and opportunity to do a full complete fluid flush which is an often overlooked maintenance job that can make a significant improvement in brake feel and performance. :-X22

I should have mentioned that I did the Russel stainless lines and fluid flush when I did the brake job.

I replaced the caliper and bracket. We will see if the problem comes back or not. The slide pins were still free, I'm hoping one of the pistons was occasionally hanging up. I will report back in a while.

I had 3 of my calipers do this in the last year. The caliper bore rusts between the dust seal and the piston "o-ring." I cleaned up the rust and rebuilt my calipers using new seals & boots for about $7 per corner. Dirty job that is a bit time consuming, but worth it to me.
Moisture gets trapped behind the boot and rusts over time.
A relative just changed rear pads in his '04 and had the same issue with caliper piston sticking afterwards. In his case, we put a pair of new rear calipers on because we were pressed for time.
