3.5EB and 10 speed???

Has anyone driven the 3.5EB with the 10 speed yet? I look through the forums daily waiting to see any reviews of their experience. May be pulling the trigger today on one and a 17 Edge for the wife. I would hate for there to still be a delay in building for a March delivery.

They haven't been released yet, I've heard they are having issues with the gen 2 ecoboost. So at least they didn't released to the public with issues.

Good to see they didn't release with a known issue. Hope it all gets sorted out soon though.

I thought they were shipping as of last week. My dealer said they had 2 Raptors in transit now.

I read on another forum that Wednesday of this week they were supposed to start shipping them out from KCP and KTP. I just placed by order for a 17 Platinum with the 3.5 and hope there are no production issues.

Just checked a local dealer online...and they claim to have 4 or 5. I am attaching 2ea window sticker just as a reference. :oval

Usually they will say, "In transit", but no mention.

My 2017 XLT SCrew 3.5EB/10 speed, was built on Nov. 9, and the normal lead on delivery to me is 4-5 weeks from build. I have authorized the engineering monitoring telemetry for 90 days, so may take a few days longer for that install.

12 months and 38,000 miles, (about 7000 towing 9100 # trailer,) on my 2016 3.5 EB and have had no problems. Noticed that a new OEM air filter every 10,000 miles is worth around +1 MPG, on dash readout.

A guy on another forum posted where his build date slipped from mid Dec to end of Jan for the 3.5/10speed combo. I have to have a truck when I return to the states so I changed my order to a 5.0 to get the order started

Wonder, how much shorter the drive shaft is with the 10 speed ?

Someone missed the TFL videos of them at the meeting where they showed the new 10 speed as a cut away. It's barely any longer than the current 6 speeds, think it's within an inch or less which is next to nothing.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the 5.0L and 6spd tranny combo. :-X22

I enjoyed driving it in my 2010 so Im sure I will with this 17 even more. My dad bought a 16 SCrew with a 2.7 and loves driving it. My mom has to straighten him out from the "right side operator seat" every so often.

They've started shipping some. Freedom Ford in Wise VA. has a couple on their lot.
