Ford F100 Steering Column Replacement
1 Attachment(s)
Replacing steering column in my Ford F100. Obtained so-called replacement via the internet. Does not look like the one that is being replaced. See photo. The one on the left is the original. The one on the right is the replacement. Notice that the threads on the end of the shaft for the steering wheel are different. Also, the replacement has a hazard light flasher circuit. The holes for the gear links are different diameter. Can anyone identify the replacement? Perhaps from a Bronco? Thanks. THF

--IF there's an NSS on the top, lower end of the column tube, it's from a '73-'77 model Dentside. Also, the tapered 'shift collar' is an indication that it's from a '73-'77 model. The shift collar on a '78/'79 column is larger. The smaller shift collar was brought to my attention by Mr. Jefffafa. |
