Bypass hose confusion

Hi everyone, I'm new on here and new to working on Fords so please have patience with me. I have a bare bones 86 F250 with the 5.8, 2 wheel drive, and AT. Can someone please tell me what nipple on the water pump is for the bypass hose and which one goes to the heater core. Thanks

The vertical nipple is the bypass and should hook in to the T stat housing.. The others are for the heater core.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm sorry but I didn't specify that I was referring to the nips on the water pump. Is it the top one or the one beneath it used for the bypass. Thanks again and sorry for not specifying

Sorry Matt I reread your reply and misunderstood. So the vertical nip on the pump is the lower of the two correct? I know the difference between vertical and horizontal but just want to double check. Thanks again
