Buying a used f250 harley Davidson diesal what to look for?
 

I am buying this truck it has 170000 km but he says it has a brand new motor from the ground up is there any way to tell if it has or not? Besides paper work and the engine being clean. It has all the deletes. First diesal and want to learn more before I purchase on wednesday!

There's a good checklist in the Tech Folder. A Scangauge would be a good tool to have. Had I been more educated before my purchase, I wouldn't look at a 6.0 without one.
