Slamming between 1st and 2nd gear.

1992 F150 5.8l V8 4x2. Automatic transmission 30k miles.

After driving in stop and go traffic for about 20-30 minutes, I start slamming in the transmission when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. I check the fluid and it's not low.

Ideas?
