Power Windows POWER
I asked awile back about how to get power to the power windows in a 1996 Ford F-150 SuperCab and never got an answer. So how does this sound..... I plan on taking power from the POWERPOINT fuse in the fuseblock under the dash and putting an in-line holder and the taking the circuit breaker from the power window circuit and putting it in the fuse holder and then putting the other end of the fuse holder in the slot that goes to the power windows. That way I will have power to the windows all the time but power will not feed back into the ACCESSORY circuit since the circuit breaker will not be in the factory spot. Sound O.K.???

Wouldn't the source of your problem be one of the fusible links at the starter solenoid ?

Oh...OK...your theory is the right approach. The only thing you will have to verify, with a wire schematic for your model, is that there is no other component that is branched off the same wire, after the fuse panel, but I doubt it.
