Lincoln Square Wave 200 Tig welder
Is there anyone on here using a Lincoln SW200 tig welder? If so what do you think of it? I'm thinking about buying one. I have used a Tig welder about 30 years ago a few times, that was a long time ago, so I might as well say that I am a first time Tig welder. It's going to used just for fun, weld on my own projects.
I have heard that there is a lot of complaints about the non adjustable post flow that seems to be extra long. Someone said 20 seconds, but I have not confirmed that. As hard as it is I might wait until November to see if there an announcement on a software update. |
I have run a few Lincoln's, and while their stick welders are great, their MIG and TIG setups seem to be lacking. I prefer Miller for TIG and MIG, unless I can get my hands on a Powcon.

Thanks for the input Jared
I have changed my mind (Not that there was anything wrong with the one I had) I am looking at the Everlast PowerTig 250EX. They seem to have a good wrap on the welding forms for the most part. I like some of the features that it has that the Lincoln does not. I looked at the Everlast PowerTig 210EXT it has a few more bells and whistles and is a couple hundred more. My guess is that the 250EX will be more then I need. |
