Looking for material for sheet metal...

I cannot remember where I saw this, but I swore there is a liquid (not spray but brush/roll on) where you have some rusted areas of sheet metal and this will build up around it, solidify it, and potentially close the hole/holes or any pitted areas. I thought is was black and even could sand it a little after drying for a bit.

This sound familiar as I do not want to go the bondo route (not for this at least) and welding will take way too long to fix.

Thanks!
Ed

Never heard of a liquid but I have used Flame Spray, Inc on a few occasions for this sort of build up.

No - I have that stuff and have used it on the bottom of my cab.

The Eastwood rust converter turn black. It is nice as it is water cleanup. On heavily pitted areas I have used that, then fillable primer and then a thin coat of Rage Gold lightweight filler. The Rage is thin and spread out easily. Easy to sand down. I suppose that I could skip the fillable primer but I think that it helps with the bond.
