SYNC update issues

2011 F250 with Sync Nav Touch. A while back my GPS antenna went bad. The dealership repaired under warranty and also completely replaced the head unit. After replacement, when set to media input, it seems to default to aux. input mode. Every time I turn the truck off then get back in I have to set it to BT or USB which ever I'm using. The old head unit always stayed where it was when turned off. Also now the voice command button doesn't work when in BT mode.

I tried to install the Sync update a while back. In the specs it said these problems would be fixed. Along with some other stuff that I really didn't pay attention to. Loaded the file on a thumb drive and attempted to install. Kept getting a message saying "File Unreadable". Called Sync service and they acknowledged the problem and advised me that I would be notified when the issue was fixed. That was last fall.....

Anyone else have similar problems and/or fixes? Any news on new updates?

My Sync is the basic model in a XLT trim package on my '13 F250. I tried everything I could and read extensively on doing the update. None of the instructions match what my Sync screen says and I got the file unreadable notice also.
My other problem(besides it not liking my Iphone SE) is that 90% of the time when it is on USB and I turn off the rig, it comes back to FM.
I have had it into the dealer several times, the head unit replaced twice, the battery replaced and still have the issues.
My radio issue that I suppose is not related to Sync is that my audio choices drop out and radio goes to default setting. the stations stay saved; but bass, treble, speed control and all others reset about every 4-5 weeks. It doesn't seem to matter what mileage I put on it, it just doesn't stay set.
I am about ready to pull it and put in a non factory radio since Ford seems unable to resolve their issue.
