Does the Edge/Powerdome hood have more clearance
 

I really need an inch or so more clearance under the hood on my 02 Ranger and was wondering if the Edge/Powerdome hood offers that.

It this point, the center rib on the aluminum hood is hitting the intake. It would be easier to change the hood than loose the good intake and modify the original.
