Accelerator pedal linkage

Hi All, wonder if anyone would have a picture of the connection between the accelerator pedal/spring/linkage arm on a '50 F1? The P.O. used a stock pedal, but ground the rubber away where the ball went, and added a piece of tubing to the original linkage where it came thru the floor and flattened the end. The tubing just rode on the back of the pedal and made its own groove. I bought a new pedal, ball connection and spring...now need to see how the spring attaches to the rod. I need to see the end of the accelerator rod where it attaches to the spring/ball/pedal.
Thanks,
olguy
