2003 f 250 vibration

I have a vibration at certain speeds.More noticeable at higher speeds whether I'm accelerating or not.For example I have it at 76 and not at 75 and have it again at 74 on down.Has anyone else had this experience?Brought to the stealership and they didn't fix!

It could be a slight out of balance wheel, Do you have a carrier bearing on the your driveshaft? It could be that. It could be a bad U-Joint, Is the truck lifted?

Thanks for the response!
I had the dealer put new tires on it and replaced the upper balljoints. That's when it started.I'm thinking like you, bound to be the drive shaft.Maybe they done something with the drive shaft. No lift!

Ask them to check the balance on the tires if it started after new ones were mounted. If it started immediately after something was done, always look to what was done first. And then look to the simplest thing to check first. Tire balance. I doubt they sabotaged your driveshaft, but you never know.

Make sure that your tires are up to recommended inflation. We had that problem with our 2006 f-250 and ford actually sent us a letter saying that if you have your tires under inflated that it would cause heavy vibrations. But being on gravel roads we found that having tires with lower inflation in other trucks would make them ride better. But you need to have them to the full recommended inflation (for my truck it is 75 psi).
