1988 F350 4x4 the start of a project...

This old truck (which still seems fairly new to me :) I'm more of a 60's 70's guy) has been in the family for a few years. It was my brothers last truck before he passed. When he passed it just needed a water pump replaced. Then other family members worked on it. Now it needs a lot of work. But well worth it. It has that old high boy stance and this trucks is a hoss with a Dana 60 solid front axle,Sterling 10.25 rear,4:10's,limited slip,351W,a C6 automatic, and a 9,000 GVW. A pretty stout ole single wheel truck. I just got it in the garage yesterday. Soon....the fun begins....Time to get this ole rig back together.

Its a project but the ole F350 has sentimental value to a few of us family members.
Its a low mile truck with 82,xxx on it so its still pretty tight and the interior is nice. I know I am swapping to a overdrive trans, probably a 5 speed. I may look into a older IDI 7.3 swap too or I may just go back with the 351W gas setup but carbed (for a few reasons).
Rust is major issue that I want to address also. It will most likely be a fairly long project and I'm still in the working out and planning stage.
