2011-2012 Master Cylinder Question
 

I have a Motorcraft BRMC-144; BC3Z-2140-A master cylinder that I bought to use on my disc brake conversion on my 1949 F4. The MC is for a 2011-12 F450-F550 with vacuum boost and no trailer controls. I went to my local Ford dealer to buy fittings to use this MC and two of the techs there told me that I would not be able to use this MC because it is technically not a dual MC. They said that the port closest to the booster is a return port from the ECU and the front port is the pressure port. I put fluid in the reservoir and pushed the piston in with a screwdriver and it pumps fluid out of both ports:-huh. So, do I have a dual MC, or are the techs correct?
