How Rare is my ford truck i just purchased

I just bought this 2006 ford fx4 stepside with a tiny side window behind the passenger and drivers side windows but this little side door opens up but no rear seats. Guy said its a very rare truck but i have no idea myself. Can anyone let me know how many of these trucks where made. Im having a hard time uploding a picture of it as my mac will let me upload certain pics but not all my pics and the truck was one of them. Stupid computer. Anyhow thats the best i know how to describe this truck. Thanks.

I don't know about the stepside but the extra-space 4-door cab was the standard cab for several years, so it's not rare at all.

You just said you dont know about the stepside. So if you dont know then you sayits not rare at all. I just found out today how rare it really is. Went to ford dealership and the service guy in the service bay whos been working their for the past 10 years has only seen one more like it. Then i kijiji and auto tradered it and nothing so i know he and the guy who sold it to me weren't bull****ting about it.

I won't say it is unseen, but certainly isn't common. The combination of the fladeside with the regular cab makes it pretty unique. I just Googled and found a few like yours, but not many. It's a nice truck, congrats on the buy

neither of the options are rare it's the combination that isn't really seen. I guess when you say "rare" some people think you placing an assumed higher value. Kind of like the short bed duallys, there aren't many out there, but there is nothing special about them.

The stepside/flare side is a thing, I see them all the time here in Texas and all regular cabs have the opening "doors". But you are right I haven't seen many flareside reg cab combos.

Rare is not the same as being worth more. Big deal. trucks are not like a muscle car. I have a rare truck. is it worth more? no.

I would like that bed on a CREWCAB .

The correct term is "unusual".

An FX4 in a RC is unusual, although I do see one in my area every once in a while. I don't think it's a flare side though

Wonder what the dash gages / speedo look like in it?

Picture "Cruise Mansfield" maybe?

Yep, usually it's a Scab or Screw F-side .... and when it's a RC it's most often an STX, not a FX4.

Love my F-side! :oval :-jammin
