Ha, I did up until it started giving me problems. I need a truck I can rely to be there for me, and the 08 just wasn't it.

Not usually my type of mod but that looks pretty sick, not gonna lie.

Thanks buddy. Yep I understand what you mean: a truck has got to be reliable. I'm sure it'll be no time and your gonna be doing no telling what to that truck

I actually don't have all that much planned! Gonna get a leveling kit and some 35's if I can fit em, 34's if I can't. Gonna have a bed bar with a light on the top, and I'm gonna see if I can't find a stealth winch mount front bumper

CyberJay how many lbs are those drawers rated for? I can think of all kinds of things to put in there!!!

200lbs per drawer, 2,000lbs on top of the deck. I walked around up on top of it.. I'm a big boy but not anywhere near 2,000lbs. Seems sturdy.

I installed the oem rear sway bar on my 2011 f250. A word of advice for those who choose to add the oem rear sway bar late, as I did, use a thread chaser to clean up the very rusty threads. Otherwise, it will be nearly impossible to bolt up the main bar to the back of the shock mounts.

I like it! Wouldn't run them in town but I'm off-road a lot camping/dirt biking and that would be cool for that!
Care to share your set up/links to what you bought?

You might try some contact cleaner and a brush. I have replaced them on other cars, maybe check on the cost of them too.

i don't remember if i posted it here or in my build thread, but i got my amber LED strip in a few days ago, whenever the rain stops i plan to install it behind the grille on my 04. can't wait!!! thinking of getting some nice dim lights for under the dash on both sides just for some night ambient lighting

jlmotox thanks! I can't provide the link but I got the lights off eBay Just make sure you get the waterproof type and there are several colors to choose from. As far as the install goes it's really pretty simple the way I did mine. I didn't remove the grill. This is gonna seem redneck but it worked. I heated up the tip of a drill bit (3/16" or so) and reached thru the grill and burned holes in the support brackets where I could attach the light strip with zip ties. The trick is to get it as close to the front of the vehicle as possible so you can't actually see the lights when standing in front of the truck. I just wanted the soft glow to show. I used one strip which is about 16' I think and I cut 2' of that off. Got a zip tie every 4-6" so it's not flopping around. Some will think it's cheesy but it adds a personal touch to my truck and looks cool in the woods at night
