fuel return question
on a 1984 350 6.9l, replacing the fuel tanks with an auxiliary tank in the bed. what can i do with the fuel return that goes back to the tank? can i tie it into the supply line coming out of the new tank; or does it have to go to the tank?

Yeah, there is quite a bit of fuel returned by our fuel system. It's used for lubrication and cooling of the IP and injectors.

you say a low point, will it flow even if it is below the fuel line?

when he said low point, he meant to put it back into the tank with the end of the return down at the bottom of the tank so the returned fuel is put straight into the fuel in the tank. if it is at the top of the tank it can aerate the fuel in the tank when it splashes in.

just wanted that clarified; thanks for the info
