Fitech anyone?

Fitech fuel injection...Pulled the trigger and bought it. Should ship next week. It's going on a 302. Anyone here running one?

No, but I just learned of them and they look like they have some nice inexpensive stuff. I will be looking forward to hear how the set up works out for you. I am considering switching over to FI in the future.

I'll keep you updated. The price is good, but I really like the self learning. This will be a daily driver. So I don't want to stink up the garage every day

ha ha ha..... I know what you mean. When I fire up the F2 (stock gas motor) it takes a bit of a warm up before I can drive it out. Nice smelly cloud forms and hangs in there for an hour.
Looks like a Grateful Dead show happened in there each time. :D I call it the mosquito control.

Been watching the Fitech stuff for a while. Definitely on my list for down the line. Cant wait to see how you get on with it.

Enjoy.

A guy over on the Studebaker website put one on a 289 Stude and is very happy with it. I've been eyeballing them myself...tempted to stick one on a few of my vehicles...

Looking forward to it. Ship date moved to May 9.

One friend has installed the Fuel Control System on his early Chevy truck along with a Terminator EFI setup (wasn't aware of the FiTech EFI at the time) and it works well. Another friend is installing a complete FiTech unit on a SBC in a 35 Tudor - should have results soon.

Just a heads up to anyone going to order. I checked my order and summit moved the ship date to 8/1.
After I called summit, it changed to by the end of this month.
Work is getting busy, looks like a June fire up date.

I am waiting on my order from summit as well. same date they gave me for back order. Hopefully its just that they cant keep up with the orders and not a production problem. I'm going to put it on a 302 as well. I'm not planning on my project running that quickly any way.

Got it and some time to set it on the engine.
I like the look. A week or so we'll see how it runs ;) .

For the money, I'm impressed with what's included.
I'll keep y'all posted 👍

I connected it up, fired it up and broke in the Cam. It Ran really well.likely the easiest first start coming from an engine build I've had. Let it sit and waited for my wife to come home and impress her with a fine running truck. Hit the key, nothing. Not talking to the ecu. Double, triple checked connections and still dead Sent it back, they'll go through it next week.
Once again, I'll keep ya'll posted.
