1979 ford truck two tone help

I'm getting ready to paint my truck and I'm wanting to stay as original as I can. Wanting to go dark blue and white in middle. I've seen where there us a midnight blue metallic on factory color cards. Does anyone know what color if white would have been on these trucks. Numberdummie can u help

Oreilllys will probably not have it but it depends on your local store and how wrenchworthy the store owner and stock manager is.

Your best bet is to find a local jobber (or "color service") and have them mix a gallon and spec the compatible hardener, reducer, and clear coat. You've shot color and clears before, right?

Alternatively, Summit carries Wimbledon White as single stage..: Summit Racing Equipment® Low VOC Single Stage Paints SUM-LVS322G - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

That's good to know. I hope I can get it somewhere like that. It will be a while when I get it done. I have some pics of the truck I'm doing all of this on. I'm doing a cab swap. Got one that was two tone already so I would have the trim. Just look on my posts. Got the thing all apart now. Gonna sand blast and powdercoat the frame and build a new 351 windsor

Sounds good... go for it!
