Happy April fools day.

We made it to Wilmington North Carolina today to pick up the bucket van. They let me drop my trailer there. We are on the beach today. The kids are happy.

Headed home tomorrow.

The trip went good. I put Big hipped Betty to work. 979 miles. 15.5 hours. I got 15 mpg going and 8.8 coming back.

Morning Todd, how are things down south?

They are great Pat. Weather is nice for a change the past week or so. How are things up north?

Not too bad. I'll be glad when this damn wind goes away. 50 mph gusts here yesterday, it was a bit ridiculous! But, temps haven't been bad, 50's and 60's. At least I can get out in the garage and work on the truck now!

That's good. How is the Truck coming along?

Slow! The wife is working a ton of hours, so, I have to be her and me this week. Haven't had much time to play. Did get some time in on Sunday at least. Hoping to get the new front axle back together, and on the chassis soon.

Had some trees cut yesterday and broke my tractor. Who needs a tractor when you have a F350? I used it to drag the trees off.

My Saturday was interrupted. I had to go to Homer to work on our F450 bucket truck. It is an 07 6.0. It ended up being an easy fix. I had to replace the fuel pump assembly.

Now I am way behind on my stuff.

Nothing too exciting. Headed off to my favorite BBQ place for dinner. We're having a birthday party in a few weeks, just too much going on right now to have it the next few weekends.

That's cool, I hear you about being busy, my youngest son turned 6 on the 1st and we still have not had his birthday party yet. Don't work to hard today.

Oh, don't worry about that, I have no plans on being productive whatsoever!!LOL

lol I hear that. I have to go meet a customer today to review a big order we shipped to them so this should be interesting...lol

Me too! I don't like going meet customers...lol but it is at 3 this afternoon so hopefully I can drag it out to just go home from there in stead of coming back to the office.

Yeah, I don't have the patience to deal with the public! I worked at Menards for about 6 months. About drove me nuts!

lol, I been doing this for 11 years. The guys I'm going meet today are new customers of ours. What is Menards?

It's one of the big Hardware box stores, like Lowes and Home Depot. Must not have them down that way.

Ah ok, no we don't. our customers are base oriented. we don't really have walk up customers like that. It's all oilfield related.

Oh, well, your customers are waaaaay better than the people I had to deal with, then!!LOL

This fiber splicing is keeping me busy. Still doing Berliners on the weekends. But I am enjoying being home. Tonight is the first night I haven't slept in my bed in 2 weeks.

Thanks Robert! Had a nice birthday, got a new pair of Oakley sunglasses from the wife, and gift certificates from the kids for the place I buy tools from. Oh, and a great dinner at my favorite BBQ place!

Hey guys I replaced the springs and shocks on the front of my 06 E350 bucket van. The drive rside shock was the hardest I have ever changed. I could not get a wrench on the top of the shock. I finally broke out the torch and made me an opening.
