1983 f150 twin turbo

Hi i was wondering if i upgraded the engine and got a new chip for the truck would it be possible to put a twin turbo kit for a 302 mustang on my 1983 f150

If you put an EFI engine in your '83 then yeah you could put a turbo kit on it and that would most likely require a tune.. but that's a tiny detail in a rather large project.

Pretty sure your 1983 model doesn't have a computer to be "chipped" to start with so I'd say you might want to research this some more. That said, it could be done and I know of a few folks who could get it done successfully but a whole lot more who couldn't.
If you have a 302 now, a whole lot simpler route to more power would be to swap that 302 for a 351W. I did in my 1982 and was VERY pleased with the results. And if you just had to, a twin turbo setup would work with a 351W too.

If you're thinking on turbo-ing that 83 motor, forget about it. The engine block will not be able to seal the heads with more cylinder pressure.
