I am getting ready to pressure wash the carpet in my 04 f350 crew cab. I did that in my scion xb and it worked great.

Hey man, this is a family forum. Try to keep that bad news out of here!

One quick question, does anyone know of a video or instructions on how to swap out the front grill?

Four (4) screws along the top and two (2) clips on the bottom three (3) minutes.

4 clips...so 4 minutes! LOL....

Has anyone used those 05 conversion grilles off eBay with any success?

I was just thinking this earlier today. You talking about the precut ones that work with a 99-04 bumper? I'd like to know also.

yep! i doubt they're OEM grilles, but i'd rather get a good quality aftermarket grille that is already cut (likely by a machine) rather than get a real OEM grille and cut it by hand just to say I have an OEM grille. i want to keep my 99-04 bumper, but i think i want to run a newer grille and headlights.

You might want to keep your eyes open for a used grill on Craigslist and cut it yourself. Nothing to it really. There are lots of good threads on how to trim it.

I lucked out and found a really nice OEM grill off of an f250 for $15 and trimmed it in about an hour.

that's an option too. how does it look up close though? i'm pretty OCD about up close details lol

I can tell a difference from before i put the deadener in there to now and it is so much better with the deadener in there

I highly recommend doing it, even if you have to pay someone to do it.

i ordered my grill off of ebay a couple of months ago

it was a recommended one from here

its going to have to wait a couple of weeks to get installed since the interior work took so long to do

I plan on adding the some deadener to mine. How much do I need to buy?
