ok so last winter I un f'ed up my truck...
the previous owner had put in a 390 FE motor..

im sure there is plenty good with the 390 if done right but this was just not done right...

the truck sputtered and had no power... I could barley pull 4th gear...

so I dropped in a 460 and a c6 auto!!

here is some pictures of the truck when I bought it!!

ok so I skipped a ton of work!!
I took out all the rivets and all the brackets and cross members!!

I set up a harbor freight shed in my shop over my frame... I sand blasted the hole thing! then I coated it with por15

I also blasted all my brackets and small stuff that would fit in my cabinet..

the leaf springs and other larger items where done out side..

Don't you hate it when a mega-sized image gets posted and you end up having to scroll side to side to see the complete posts on that page? Automatic image resizing software has been added to the site! You can access this feature through your UserCP > Edit Options> Thread Display Options> The Image Resizer. If you leave the fields blank, all images larger than 400px in width or 600px in height will be resized down to approximately 400px in width or 600px in height. If you enter a 0 into both fields, then the feature is disabled and you won't see any resizing. You can also set a custom size if you want to. Just be sure to scroll down and click "Save Changes" if you do anything other than leave the fields blank.
