94 bronco keeps fouling plugs.

Picked up a 94 Eddie Bauer bronco. 5.8l E40d 4x4.
Won't fire up worth **** when it's cold. Starts good when the airs warmer or the motor is hot.

It will foul them right at start up.
If you can get it going it cleans them out and away she goes. Runs perfect.

I've checked ect, atc, pcm grounds, block ground, fuel pump ground, iac, fuel pump relay. Map sensor.
I've got spark, the injectors aren't shorted to ground.

Have 30-40 psi fuel pressure.
Have spark. So must have a pip.
When it floods your a opposed to be able to floor the gas petal and it's sopposed to shut off injectors and clean it out.
Tried this and it didn't work.

Any ideas.

pull out any codes?

If your ACT is good, another thing that can throw it off is bad O2 sensors and a TPS. Both of those might throw a code, depending on the problem

The act checked out. Don't have the ranges but it seamed right by using my Haynes manual.
And it Wes -15*C when I tested it. couldn't find a value for it easy.

Tps could be possible but it's hard to back probe with the tools I have.
The o2 shouldn't be bad.
On startup should be open loop.
And when it's running the it's perfect.
No MIL. But if there are soft codes they won't trip the light.
I will check that later tonight

I'd suspect a bad coolant temp sensor if you're having cold start issues. It'd takes a lot of fuel to foul the plugs on a TFI coil-powered system. Have you checked the spark? Is it nice hot blue spark, or a lazy orange spark?
