6.0 Broken Rocker Mount
 

Have a code Po3o4 Cyl 4 misfire. I pulled the valve cover to remove the injector and found the right half of the rocker mount and rocker arm laying in the head. Any ideas as to what may have happened?

Check your push rod. Any chance that it hydrolocked and you tried to start it?

I was driving when it picked up a shutter in overdrive. Brought it home and parked it. Hooked it up to the computer and got the code. Thought it was a bad injector so I started taking it apart and found the broken rocker.

What did the push rod AKA a push tube on the 6.0l look like? Is it bent? Straight?

Yes it does have a slight bend that is hard to see while rolling it.

WEll you have to figure out why the pushrod bent and busted the rocker.
