Truly "Unique" 1956 F-100

Here is your chance to own a one of a kind F-100. I have no connection but can tell from the photos that this 56 is perfect for just the right buyer. }>

I love the comments on the site showing all the pics.
"Is it really just “time to move on”…or, was it that letter from the homeowner’s association…?"
And then they get mean...

Hecho en Mexico ??

Pictures on the doors express my thoughts.:-roll

What? No portholes?

CharlieLed 01-17-2016 11:22 AM

With the CA plates and the scenery in the background of the photos, I would have to say that this is somewhere in Palm Desert. I would guess that there is a Mexican gentleman somewhere out there who is very proud of this truck...my guess is that he might be a big rig driver who needs a bit of intervention for his "chrome shop" addiction. The sad thing is that he probably thinks that his "embellishments" actually add value!

Momma always said that if you don't have anything nice to say then you shouldn't say anything at all.

That being said, I humble submit the following statement......

I wish I hadn't viewed that link this close to bedtime. Now I expect I'll have nightmares. :(

No Jester thumbing his nose on the hood, either.

Seriously, there were tons of trucks that looked just like this in the early-mid '60's. Usually with canted quad headlights and white diamond-tuck upholstery.

Mervy49 01-20-2016 04:24 PM

A 45 gallon drum of bondo might fix that up. haha

GLR 01-26-2016 01:45 PM

Got me thinking...wonder how an 89 Crown Vic nose would look on my 54. At least would be keeping it Ford.....
Also have a set if fender skirts from a 67 Galaxie.
Now my head hurts from thinking about it.

Don't even think about it George...lol:-X19

1950FordF1 01-26-2016 06:09 PM

That trucks style reminds me of some of the vans I saw in the 80s at the west coast van nationals.......if I did that to Mater I would be homeless.

bigwin56f100 01-26-2016 09:09 PM

At this point it might be a good candidate for a demo derby truck class?
