1987 Bronco Exhaust Exit Ideas
 

I just bought an 87 Bronco to restore. The headers and exhaust are rusted and have leaks throughout. Right now it has true dual's with no cats and exits at the rear of the truck. You can't ride with the rear window down because it will suck in the exhaust fumes.

I want to keep true dual's and will probably have a local shop build a custom exhaust. I was thinking about having them exit just before the rear tires just past the doors. I saw a few people have this set up and was wondering if you smell it when the front windows are down if this is done.

Also, as far as mufflers, I want a modest deep tone, nothing crazy loud. Suggestions would be great.
