I would like to join in my thanks to our veterans and current service men and women!!

I would like to take this moment to thank all of our service men & women as well for there service to this great country of ours,

Happy Veterans Day to all. If you didn't personally serve I'm sure someone in your family did.

For way to many its just a day off, but so many of our young and older friends, family, and strangers have endured such horrible things, and in way to many cases had there lives taken from them so we can live free. And lets not forget the men and women that have come home broken and are never the same again. So Im glad you started this thread Allen to remind us all of the real purpose of this holiday.

I would also like to thank all of those past and present who serve our country and preserve our freedom. And at the same time apologize for those who abuse that freedom without regard for the sacrifices that have and are made.

It was a strange Rememberance (Veterans) Day for me. My first in 6 years not in uniform, or at an official ceremony. However did play last post, lament, and reveille. Lowered the old, proper RCAF rondel and 21 rounds to those who served before me. Many friends still in and wished them a safe journey.

To my American brethren who I've worked with closely over the years I thank all of you too.
