Yes we did, on the '48-'56 version. Looks like nothing but jailbars so far. And they say the jailbars aren't very desirable in the truck collecting world. Here's my 'works' in progress. Why can't I just work on one at a time? Been straightening and painting grille bars and headlight rings a little at a time and assembling them hand tight onto my non running pickups, just so they look better in storage. A little less white trashy that way. But maybe not..... BTW, the straightened bars are going on that tonner pickup. I wish I could say that's a before and after shoy of the 1/2 ton, but those are reproduction jailbars from ebay for 150.00 and I painted them faded tacoma cream...

My '38 1 1/2 ton.......was parked in this spot in '76 and hasn't moved since. Patiently waiting it's turn to be brought back to life.

I see it has the very rare tire magnet option .

That isn't rare at all around here. When I bought the 5 acre piece next to mine about ten years ago a young employee said to another guy " just think how many old truck tires he can store now!" And since this thread is lets ee your truck right now, I had occasion to drive both of these fords today. I chose the '59 to pick up plywood, 30 miles because the panel still has my army cot and camping gear in the back. Oh and also the '59 has a license plate that's real......
