65 F350 Parking Brake Parts

I am having trouble finding parking brake parts for the parking brake assembly on a 65 F350. It is not the traditional cable setup. It has an actual brake drum assembly on the back side of the transmission itself. Inside the drum are the shoes etc. like you would find on rear brakes, but the springs and linkages are inside the transmission housing etc. Does anyone know where to find these parts? They are of different dimensions than the rear brakes. Napa, Macs, etc. only have listings for F100's and F250's. Thanks for any and all help.

What parts do you need?

For my '61 F-350, which has an external band style of parking brake, I found new and even NOS parts non-existent. We cleaned everything up, powder-coated or re-plated steel parts on the basis of their original finishes, and Jim Vandermay of Brake Relining Specialties (Bellingham, WA 360-734-2828) re-lined the band. The drum itself had some wear, but given the scarcity of replacement parts, we choose to limit our work to minor clean-up of the surface. The parking brake works well now but, granted, our truck is not hauling heavy loads!

Regards,

Steve

Parts are the same 1961/66 F350 w/a 4 speed: NOS (New Old Stock): I found 40 drums, over 100 sets of shoes with lining, 19 sets of just the lining, 25 parking brake release springs, 35 parking brake adjusting springs.

That's one awesome and super clean e-brake assembly ! Looks like still a lot of NOS available, says Bill.

I suppose, Bill, that these are internal-shoe drums and linings rather than the external-band style parking brake on my 3-speed '61. I've assumed my truck's external-band style parking brake related to its original HD 3-speed transmission (E code)? But when I look at my photo above carefully, I now wonder if my truck even has its original HD 3-speed transmission. Sounds like I need a new thread for that question!
