RPM problem maybe?!?

Hey guys, so today I noticed this. While in park or while my foot is on the brake it shows I'm not at zero RPMs, as you can see in the picture. Everything else is fine while I drive. The needle is not jumping around or anything like that. Should I be concerned? Please help !

The engine is running at idle speed. Nothing wrong.

Okay man, thanks I just wasn't sure, new to the whole truck thing. I had a Ford Focus for years lol

The focus would be the same way unless it had a feature that shut the engine off at stops and automatically restarted it when you hit the gas. Ditto all brands all engines except hybrids and auto restart. Was the focus a hybrid?

Most cars have a tachometer (gauge that shows how fast the engine is spinning; speed is displayed as RPM which stands for revolutions per minute) but not all. When the engine is running, the reading will not be zero.

Ha! You got some of them with that gag! I'll have to remember that one; 'The truck isn't moving but the RPM gauge isn't on zero'. I can see that on T-shirts and on signs in garages all over the world! You know, like; 'Hey buddy! Your back wheels are going forward!'
