Help rolling up window temporarily

Is there a way to temporarily roll up a window with a bad regulator?

I picked up a 2003 Navigator project recently and while testing the windows I was able to roll down the rear passenger window, but now it won't go up.

I tried jumping the motor directly and it still didn't move, so I assume the regulator is jammed.

I've never worked with these before, but I did try to remove the motor (the three T27 screws) and quickly put it back together.

For now I just want to get the window up until I can order some replacement parts. Luckily the A/C works great so I don't need windows, and thankfully the driver window works fine.

Thanks!
Ian

Open the door. Press your hands together on each side of the glass and see if you can force the glass up. Remove the motor, if you have to, to see if that helps. Just be aware that without the motor in there, a "normally operating" window will drop to the limit of its travel if you let it go while it's raised. Use a wedge or some shims to secure the glass, just in case.

If it still won't go up, use a tarp or park in a garage, etc, until you have the parts.

Removing the motor did the trick. The three T27 screws and it pops right out.

I pulled the window up and popped the motor back in to hold it.

I left the motor unplugged so nobody will accidentally move it until I solve the problem.

Thanks!
