78 F250 new tie rod help

Replacing the tie rods on my 78 f250. I got new moog tie rods, and they come with the ends, the boot, castle nut, grease fitting, and a washer. Where does the washer go? Does it go under the boot on the tie rod end? Does it go on top of the boot against the steering knuckle?

There are no instructions, and the manual doesn't give that much detail.

Thanks guys

That's a great reference to have, thanks. Unfortunately it does not list my part numbers.

My guess the washer goes on first to prevent grease from blowing out where boot seal goes into the grooved tie rod casting ..

I agree I feel the rubber should keep the grease in and the washer should keep the rubber from wearing on the tie rod

That's what I was figuring, good to have another set of eyes on it though.
