Dana 60 lube choice?

A quick one for you gentlemen:
A friend of mine has some 75w90 Redline synthetic gear lube left over from a job he just finished, and is willing to give it to me. Can this be used in my Dana 60?
Its in a 73 f250 360 c6 2wd.
If so, will it require friction modifiers, and what kind.

Its hard to beat free oil, so I thought I'd ask.

Thanks

If your diff uses a 75W90 weight oil, the Redline will work just fine. It generally doesn't need any additional friction modifiers for a posi and can also be used in a standard open diff.

I just put the same lube in a 92 E350 diff and have used Redline MT90 in a manual tranny for years with good results.
