Difference between E250 and E250 SuperDuty?

Hey Folks,
as you know im driving a Cargo Van E250 from '97 with E40D, 330cui.
It was imported by your army, i got some certificades for.

now i ordered some parts ( bushings for leafsprings) for my rear axle (dana 60 far as i remember)
the friend who sold me the bushings send me some small ones. doesnt fit. he asked me about the history of my van, especially about army Service.

he said:
they dont fit to your car because they are for E150/250/350. if your care served, it is an E250 SUPER DUTY. so this will be the reason for the bigger bushings in your rearaxle.

who knows something about it? :-wink

Military Vehicles can be made to any spec, you might need to measure the spring eyelets ID and shop by size alone...........might have a E350 weight rating.

There are multiple rear springs possibly upto 25 different kinds of leaf springs that will fit an Econoline. I recommend you check the drivers door jamb or the door for a sticker. It will say MFG by Ford Motor Company... Will have the VIN, and near the bottom will be multiple codes one will be SPG or SPR and use the second line to determine what leaf springs your van is equipped with.

That is 100% true...... the Vin and codes on the door Jam tell everything about the vehicle....depending on who originally ordered the vehicle....

I thought this thread was about leaf springs? If you want coil springs then LN is correct.

Based on all I'm reading, L is for the front springs and N is for the rear springs. The code is 2, 3, or 4 characters in one line, not 2 lines.
