I went ahead and just bought from Amazon... Installed it today actually... I got a pretty good deal, $40 shipped for both pieces :)

I have one in my cup holder that sticks up right where I want it. I received this one and it puts your device way down low, almost out of reach (might be a good thing), but for nav adjustments, not good. I used the 'claw' on my existing setup but will not be installing the rest. Kinda bummed. Oh well, buyer beware.

It's a little low for my taste as well :(

I guess if this buy isn't going anywhere, I'll look into fabricating one.

It looks like a thin piece of metal fits nicely on the left side of the slide out cup holder, then just buy the phone holder part?

How does you like the cradle? It attaches to standard piece of metal with holes in it, right? All the adjustment stuff is on the cradle piece?

The claw is nice. Yes, adjustments/pivots on the cradle/claw and it attaches via square mount with 4 holes. I may fab one as well now that I have a pattern for mounting. I'll just need to raise it up about 6-8 inches.

This is the part that is swaying me to make a mount ;)

Want me to just mail you mine? I'm not super impressed with it since I use my phone for GPS and can't see it well so if you want to use it as a template and then send it back (possibly with a second one-off like you make) then I'm fine with that.

Im confused about the difference between part number 15575 and 15585. Throughout the thread that number goes back and forth, and on the sign up it is back to 15575.

15585 is the one that allows you to move the phone around (on a ball)
15575 holds the phone directly to the mount.

So 15585 is 15575 + 674-101 ?

And it would all mount to the metal Excursion mounting part?
