blew a fuse, i think ?
 

Was installing led light strips and accidentally crossed a hot with a ground..
Lost all interior lights, stereo, speedometer and cruise control..
And it shifts really hard like I'm not getting power to a certain part of the transmission, feels like a instant shift kit, bam bam bam through the gears.
WTH did i do ?

The wires for the light strips were already existing from the original window trim lighting..
This is a 1992 E150 raised roof custom van..
I checked all the fuses in the box under the hood, with the key on all the fuses that are getting power are good so I'm baffled..

If this is an aftermarket converted van with the elaborate interior refit etc etc then there's probably one more fuse box added by the converter. Typically these would be located on the driver's side behind the seat along that side wall.

Drivability issues should be affected by convenience lighting however there's no real way knowing what the converter did wiring-wise.

The fuse box under the dash should also be checked for blown fuses too.

The other fuse box can be anywhere. But I doubt you'll find that it's the problem here as the power to the gauge cluster will not pass though it. My 96 Explorer conversion van's other box is all the way in the rear, above the rear A/C unit. It sounds like you burnt out the PSOM inside the gauge cluster, this is what caused the transmission function to go haywire. Also check the various circuit breakers in the main fuse box. If there's any that control what you've lost, try switching it out with another to see if you regain the power and function. Had a friend's son come by the other day that had lost his A/C, all it took was switching out the circuit breakers in the fuse panel to restore it. And sometimes with the flat fuses, they may look good, but be burnt out at the sides, not in the middle, it's easy to miss this aspect just with a quick look sometimes. Install a new fuse and see what happens.

Update: Took it in to a shop and they found a blown fuse under the dash, $.25 fuse fixed everything..
