Can someone identify these parts?
Along with my 1970 F250 highboy with a 300 six, the previous owner gave me a bunch of parts. Most I've been able to figure out but a few have me stumped. Can anyone lend a hand? Bill, are you out there?

Just don't know where it goes. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...95749ef76d.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...f7ad471519.jpg Do these go behind the grill? If so what is their purpose? https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...2377a16caa.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...1defcfe40b.jpg |

#1 appears to be a tailgate hinge for a flareside.
#3 are pilot bushings. They go into the back of the crank to accommodate the input shaft of a manual transmission. #4 are aftermarket grill inserts for that custom look. They're worth a few bucks to someone looking for a set. #6.. hmmm. The only thing I can recall in these rigs that has a shoulder bolt are the seat belt bolts. But there's not enough thread left after the bolt's shoulder bottoms on that bracket. They're black... look around for a blank spot! |
You guys are awesome! Thanks for the assist!

#1 looks like 1948/79 Flareside tailgate bracket, but...it's aftermarket. Genuine Ford brackets do not have a figure 8 mounting hole.
#6 look like brackets used to R & R engines. Assembly line workers sometimes left them in place after installing engines. They're not seat belt related (see pic). #5 is not your T/S switch if the ID number on the paper tag is D1T?-13341-AA (cannot make out the 4th digit of the prefix): D1TZ-13341-A T/S switch: 1971/84 F500/750. This is correct: D0TZ-13341-B .. T/S Switch - Marked: D0TA-13341-A = 1969 F100/350 from serial number G30,001 / 1970/72 F100/350. |
Great Bill! Thanks for the detailed info!!!

Picture number 6
Picture 6 looks like the brackets on a late model seat, 86-96?, to keep it from folding forward. I think I have a couple more sets laying around here.

I think pic #1 the D4TZ9C475A elbow that bolts to the back side of a smog pump. I've also seen some aftermarket chrome air cleaners mount this to the bottom pan of the air cleaner to hook up a crankcase vent hose.

I stared at that part for 5 minutes, knew I'd seen it before, but couldn't remember where it went. |

Air pump fitting? No kiddin'? Still looks like a tailgate hinge.

Are the grill inserts for sale?
Any chance you are getting rid of the grill inserts?
